If you are not a South Africa citizen and are a citizen from a country subject
to visa control, a visa must be obtained before travelling into and around South Africa.

The Global South 2010 Conference will be officially registered so that all South
African missions abroad will be authorized to issue visas to delegates attending the
conference. Upon conference registration and proof of payment, the Global South 2010
Conference Secretariat will issue Letters of Invitation on request, which may assist
with the obtainment of a South Africa visa.
Passports must be valid for at least 30 days beyond the intended date of departure
from South Africa and should contain at least one unused visa page when presented for
endorsement. Immunization for yellow fever is an entry requirement if the journey
starts or entails passing through the yellow fever belt of Africa or South America –
please refer to the list below, as compiled by the World Health Organisation, listing
countries that fall within the belt.
